Get certified on various recovery techniques and equipment. This course teaches you how to safely perform various recovery techniques, with various equipment. Not only is it important to know how to do a recovery, but it’s also important to know what not to do. Poor techniques, or using the wrong equipment for a given situation often leads to serious damage, injuries, or death.

Target Audience. All off-roaders and overlanders. It is recommended (not required) that clients complete the Off-Roading 101 course prior to taking this course.

Vehicle Requirements. Any reliable 4WD SUV, SUT or trucks with 2-speed 4WD transfer case (must have 4-Low gearing). Street legal vehicle in excellent working condition, no fluid leaks. Frame-mounted recovery points front and rear. Full-size spare tire.
Your vehicle MUST be fully insured, and properly plated for road use.
Equipment & Accessory “Nice-to-Haves.” This is a list of equipment that will help you take full advantage of the training in this course. However, if you do not have this equipment, please do not purchase for the course. We will show you the very best equipment you’ll want to purchase. You are not required to have any, or all of this equipment to enroll in the course.
There is ONE exception…bring gloves! A good pair of work gloves are essential any time you go off-roading.
